High fat, low protein food for dogs?

My 12-jährige Weiner dog-mix has kidney and nearly the Hälfte of his Körpers wieght. The veterinary surgeon said, around to him high fat, protein food small. This is opposite of what most food a goal. All hints up, where it such a thing?
